Hi everyone, I'm Megan and I've been an active artist in Ypsilanti, MI for nearly two decades.

I remember when Art Attack closed ten years ago, and, like many of you, I felt sure it'd be replaced. Turns out it wasn't. Turns out that perhaps, after all, it's MY turn to step up for this community I love.

My dream has been to open a new art supply storefront in the heart of Ypsilanti that can service ALL of our creatives - both makers of the art and the supplies themselves. I want to elevate marginalized creatives/entrepreneurs - I have already been collecting vendors that I know you'll LOVE.

So, I have the opportunity to secure a wonderful space that will act as both a traditional shop full of a wide-range of art supplies (hand-picked by yours truly - a 30-year art vet - and perhaps some of you!) AND a space for classes, events, and the sky's nearly the limit!

I have made so many connections/relationships within our creative business community to make this truly successful and a staple of the downtown scene. I sincerely hope you'll join me! Ypsi deserves nice things.

I little more about me: I'm an alum of The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and Johns Hopkins with a BFA and an MA (in medical illustration), respectively. Locally, I've also attended EMU and Wayne State (and got a PhD in Anatomy, even). I have a very unique set of art & anatomy skills that bring a really strong perspective to the creation of a whole range of art. I want to share what I know... it's my time to serve.
