FAQs

You don’t carry a supply/maker I’m looking for. Can you get it?

Probably! I’ve already been bringing items into the shop that folks have asked about. Come by or email or comment on social media and let me know!

Do you carry art from local artists in your shop?

Not yet, but it’s coming! Keep an eye on the shop’s instagram because I will announce it there when it’s time!

Are you online-only? Do you have a brick & mortar location?

We were online-only from August 2022-April 2023. Then Now I opened inside Riverside Arts Center and was there from April 2023-January 2024. The NEW brick & mortar shop, with its own storefront and everything is at 42 N. Huron Street in downtown Ypsi! What is in stock there is also available to buy online from the shop.

What are your hours?

Currently, YAS is open: FRIs 2-7pm, SATs & SUNs 10-5pm.

Can I order online & pick-up at the shop?

Yes! There is an option to choose pick-up when you check out.

Do you deliver?

Let’s chat if you are in Ypsi/A2. This is a service I’d love to provide but have not set up formally. My email is below.

How do I contact you if I have a product/service/creation that I think you’d love for Y.A.S.?

Please send me an email at hello@ypsiartsupply.com (and, in fact, use that email if you have anything you’d like to chat about)

I’m not an artist but I want to help. How can I do that?

  1. Spread the word on social media (re-posts, likes, bookmarks) or when talking to friends & family. Word-of-mouth is ESSENTIAL for a small business to thrive.

  2. Maybe you’d like to buy me a coffee?

Do you make the items you sell?

Some of them! The Polite Menace sticker line, the handmade paper, the button books, crayon letters - those are all made by me. Otherwise, everything I sell comes from my thoroughly vetted wholesale vendors. I seek out brands that align with my values and a vast majority are woman- (trans women are women, btw), LGBTQIA+-, and/or BIPOC-owned, made in the USA, and not found on big box retail sites.

I’m in the process of switching the source for a few items I carried early on that, upon further inspection, didn’t match up with what I want to offer you. I will re-stock them when I have an ethical solution - even if that means I end up making them myself.
