Get started learning natural dyeing in this 2-day intensive workshop! On the first day, we'll scour and mordant fabric (and mordant yarn) using non-toxic mordants from the grocery aisle (alum and cream of tartar).
On Day 2, we'll dye yarn and apply various surface techniques to dye fabric. Dyestuffs will most likely include goldenrod, pokeberry, and black walnut. Participants are welcome to bring their own dyestuffs to experiment!
Adults and teens ages 14+ (Tweens and preteens welcome with an adult also enrolled.)
