Linocut printmaking from basics to 3-color reduction. Design your own artistic images, carve them into linoleum blocks, and print them - by hand-burnishing and on an etching press!

Get started learning natural dyeing in this 2-day intensive workshop! On the first day, we'll scour and mordant fabric (and mordant yarn) using non-toxic mordants from the grocery aisle (alum and cream of tartar).
On Day 2, we'll dye yarn and apply various surface techniques to dye fabric. Dyestuffs will most likely include goldenrod, pokeberry, and black walnut. Participants are welcome to bring their own dyestuffs to experiment!

On a separate day, we'll dye yarn and apply various surface techniques to dye fabric. Dyestuffs will most likely include goldenrod, pokeberry, and black walnut. Participants are welcome to bring their own dyestuffs to experiment!
We’ll also experiment with bleach pens and possibly other discharge techniques, turn soft wool fibers into felted designs, and make a woven artwork!

Come make a one-of-a-kind relief print - using a humble eraser! You’ll carve your unique design into an eraser, and print it onto a new pencil pouch. Register in advance or drop in on the day!
