My vision for Come Out & Print (CO&P; “coap” – rhymes with “soap”) is to provide access to tools and an etching press for folks who are not currently taking a printmaking course. Is that you? (FYI, the etching press can also efficiently print linocut and other relief blocks.) See below for more details!

In addition to material resources, I aim for CO&P to nurture the special feeling of community and camaraderie which thrives in a printmaking studio where multiple folks with different interests, methods, and experience levels are all sharing the space and interacting together.
When CO&P is scheduled during printmaking course times, I’ll be primarily focused on course participants, but I’ll be available to answer technical questions, troubleshoot issues, or to help with the press. You’ll certainly be welcome to engage with folks taking the course, chat, discuss your work, etc.
I am looking for folks to commit to attending at least half of all scheduled CO&P sessions within a given course, and to pay a 35% deposit (at registration) of the total amount they intend to pay on the sliding scale. They would then pay the balance on the first day they attend.
If you commit to four or five sessions, but you end up attending more often – that’s great! And there’s no need to commit to specific dates – just that you’ll attend at least half of the dates for the course. Come when you can!
